: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands. Raise and support the vehicle.

Drain the differential lubricant.

Disconnect the electrical connector.   Release the wiring harness retaining clip.

Remove the oil temperature sensor.   Remove and discard the O-ring seal.

.

Clean the component mating faces.

.

Install the oil temperature sensor.   Tighten to 22 Nm (16 lb.ft).

Connect the electrical connector.   Secure the wiring harness clip.

.

Fill the differential with the correct amount of lubricant.
