Remove the battery.

Remove the engine compartment upper heat shield.   Remove the screw.   Release the 2 clips.

Remove the battery compartment side wall.   Release the battery positive cable and grommet.   Release the four clips.

Release the heater pipes.   Remove the retaining screw.

Remove the battery tray.   Remove the three retaining nuts.

.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.   Tighten the nuts to 12 Nm (9 lb.ft).
