December, 2008 READ ME: AUDIO PRECISION SYSTEM ONE SERVICE MANUAL The Audio Precision ?System One? product family has been out of production since 2002, and is now considered obsolete. Adjustment and repair services, along with replacement parts and/or modules are no longer available from Audio Precision without a prior written agreement. As a courtesy to those who desire to continue supporting these classic products, Audio Precision hereby provides a free PDF copy of the last known revision to the service manual and its related technical information. This information is provided as-is, and without warranty of any kind. Persons attempting to service, repair, or adjust a System One product do so at their own risk. Audio Precision additionally notes that the common industry usage of the terms ?calibrate? and ?calibration? as they appear in this manual have significantly changed since the manual was first published in 1985. The usage of these words is NOT consistent with current ISO (International Standards Organization) definitions. As used in this service manual, ?calibrate? and ?calibration? refer to adjustment to factory specification. They do not refer to the more formal process of calibration as it exists today.
